Love is often thought of as something we feel — something that comes and goes.
But in practice, we begin to discover something quieter.
In this 7-minute guided meditation, Resting in Steadiness, we explore love as something supportive and reliable — not as intensity or emotion, but as a steady ground beneath us.
Through simple awareness of the breath, the body, and the support around us, we practice recognizing what is already stable… and gently allowing ourselves to rest there.
This meditation is especially supportive if:
you feel overwhelmed or unsettled
your nervous system feels reactive or braced
you’re looking for a sense of inner grounding
you want to experience love as something steady rather than fleeting
Love, in this practice, is not something we chase.
It is something we begin to stand on.
